Homestead Q & A

Please join REBA’s Paralegal Section for a webinar at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 5th.  Lisa J. Delaney, one of the principal drafters of the 2011 Homestead statute and its 2022 technical amendment, will answer all your homestead questions.

What isn’t quite making sense?  Do you have questions on converting into an elderly homestead, whether a life tenant and/or remainder interest may claim homestead, or can couples actually “stack $1,000,000.00?”  Would you like a review of the various documents and actions that release homestead?  Are you clear when the homestead commences and whether or when it can change?  What else needs clarification?
